2017 Transition

Friends of Kainoa Iranon Ministries,

Danielle and I would first like to thank you for all of your support in 2016 and past years. We are so honored to minister along side you to see Heaven come down.

In the past 6-7 months we have felt the Lord speaking to us about transitioning out of full-time Church ministry. We’ve both wrestled with this in our hearts, but Danielle and I both now feel a peace that “surpasses understanding”. We feel God is leading us to focus on our marriage and our children. The Lord has been doing a great deal in my heart in this area, showing me in many different ways His heart for family and the importance of sowing into our future generations. The Lord has confirmed His word through dreams, prophetic voices, and the wisdom of credible people surrounding our lives.

I felt the Lord saying, “I am calling you out of ministry, so I can put you into ministry”. He’s taking us out of ministry as you know it and into the ministry of Mothering and Fathering. Danielle and I will continue to minister, but it is going to look different. We will be keeping our Non-Profit open and my pastoral license. We will maintain our website at restoringaloha.org, as well as post short video blogs on Kainoa Iranon Ministries FaceBook Page to encourage the Body of Christ. Ministering to the one in front of us will look like one on one or small group mentoring as well as reaching out to pastors and leaders to provide a safe place for them to rest and be ministered to. We will also continue with “iBuild Ministry” helping the poor, single mothers, widows and orphans. Above all, we will be answering the call to Family.

With that being said, we feel that part of this call is to leave the island of Oahu. Although we love this island and the people here, we feel it is wise to be in a place where we are close to family as well as the ability to do business. We are planning on relocating to California near where Danielle grew up. Our goal is to be able to visit the Big Island and Oahu (where my family lives) a few months out of the year. We don’t feel like the Lord is closing doors for us, but rather calling us out and expanding our “tent pegs” as said in Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities.…”

The call to “Family” also stretches to our parents and extended family, to love them, care for them, be a blessing to them and sow seeds into their lives.

Our plan is to move from Oahu to California in June 2017. We closed Hawaii’s Church of Aloha on January 14th, but are still continuing to minister through Hawaii’s School of Ministry weekly until May 2017. This transition has been hard for us, but we trust the Lord to take care of the ones we’ve spent the last 8 years ministering to here in Hawai’i.

Danielle and I are extremely grateful for the support and love shown to us these past 8 years of ministry, we have all been able to watch and be a part of God doing the most amazing things. Our hearts is to continue to journey with you as we grow in the Lord and continue to bring Heaven to earth. If you would like to support this new vision by becoming a Monthly Financial Partner of “Kainoa Iranon Ministries”, please Give Here. Also, please keep us in prayer for this transition, we are indeed of wisdom, courage, and lots of grace.

Thank you for hearing our hearts, and thank you for ministering to the ministry that ministers to you!

With all of our Aloha,

Kainoa and Danielle Iranon
